Run/Hold [hold]
To hold the signal at a certain moment (instantaneous value) is required e.g. for 2 channel applications or dynamic
measurements. This function provides to hold the signal controlled by a digital input.
Syntax: hold(variable;enablesource)
Example: The moving force has to be hold at a defined position. The displacement measurement controls the
digital input DI 4.
hold(V1;DI4)
Minimum-/Maximum store [min] / [max]
To measure very dynamic signal peaks like stroke forces it is necessary to record the total transient and evaluate the
signal later offline or better to store the maximum/minimum. Minimum and maximum storage is a very often-used
method for data reducing.
This functionality is provided behind the buttons
min(
and
max(
.
Syntax: min(variable)
Example: The minimum value of the pressing force (tension) has to be detected.
min(V1)
Envelope function [envel]
The envelope function is suitable to measure an amplitude-modulated vibration.
To reduce the amount of data at the measurement, it is useful to detect the enveloping curve. So it is possible to see
only the positive and negative zenith values of a periodic signal. Positive and negative envelope curve is possible.
