Changing the V-ring
Use the insertion tool
(part no. 229-109.88) to
mount the new V-ring.
✗Do not grease the V-ring
before inserting it. We
recommend using water
with household liquid
soap (1 drop/1 l) as an
aid to inserting V-rings.
In order to prevent oxi-
dation from infiltration,
prepare the liquid solu-
tion in a ceramic, plastic
or stainless steel con-
tainer.
Before inserting the V-ring
wet it a little on the back
(side not in contact with
the product). Take care
that water does not enter
the seal groove in the
valve disk.
CAUTION
Observe the required
installation position of the
V-ring.
• Insert the V-ring
(see illstr.).
• By use of the V-ring
inser tion tool, press the
V-ring into the groove at
several opposite places
along the circumference.
• Insert the V-ring evenly
into position.
Remplacement du
joint trapézoïdal
Pour monter le joint tra-
pézoïdal, utiliser l'outil
d'insertion
(n° art. 229-109.88).
✗Insérer les joints trapé-
zoïdaux sans les lubri-
fier. Utiliser de l'eau à
basse tension superficiel-
le (1 goutte de produit à
vaisselle usuel/1 l) pour
faciliter le montage.
Pour empêcher l'oxy -
dation par infiltration,
préparer la solution dans
des récipients en céra-
mique, en plastique ou
en acier inoxydable.
Avant le montage, humi-
difier légèrement le joint
trapézoïdal du côté
n'étant pas en contact
avec le produit (verso).
Veiller à ce que l'eau ne
pénètre pas dans la rainu-
re du joint trapézoïdal du
disque de vanne.
ATTENTION
Prendre garde à la posi-
tion de l'installation du
joint trapézoïdal (voir
fig.).
• Insérer le joint trapé -
zoïdal (voir fig.).
• A l'aide de l'outil d'in-
sertion de joint trapézoï-
dal, enfoncer le joint tra-
pézoïdal – en appuyant,
de manière répétée et
égale, sur des points
répartis tout autour de
la circonférence.
• Insérer les joints trapé-
zoïdaux régulièrement.
