Other causes include an intake valve ball packed with material, worn or damaged pump packings, a large pressure drop in the hose, a dirty or clogged oil reservoir hydraulic filter, or a loose intake line to the pump inlet. In some cases, the hydraulic motor may be worn or damaged.
