  If fluid is spitting from the gun, it could be due to air in the pump or hose. Check and tighten all fluid connections and reprime the pump. A partially clogged tip can also cause spitting, so clear the tip. Lastly, ensure the fluid supply is adequate; refill if low or empty, and prime the pump. Regularly check the fluid supply to prevent the pump from running dry.
