Symptom Verication item Solution
When it is cutting with
the roll media, the X
position alarm occurred.
The heavy roll media can not feed
from the media roll by high speed
cutting. Therefore media needs to
feed out enough length from the
media roll before cutting.
Set the auto pre-feed setting in the
MEDIA SETTING menu.
PAUSE/MENU --> 4 MEDIA --> 2 AUTO
PRE FEED --> Set it to ON, and then set
the feed length which you want to cut the
length.
The cutting distance of
the X direction (feeding
direction) is a little
bit short or long and
it occurred when it is
cutting the long distance.
The feeding length depends on the
thickness of media. Therefore it must
adjust the distance adjustment for the
X direction.
Adjust the X distance adjustment in the
DISTANCE ADJUST of condition menu.
COND/TEST --> 1 DISTANCE ADJUST
--> Set it ON to the corresponding
condition No. --> 3 X=x.xxx% --> Set the
adjustment value.
For example:
The 5 mm is short when it cuts the 5 m.
Adjustment value is:
5 mm / 5000 mm x 100 = 0.1%
Set the +0.1% for the X distance
adjustment.
When it is cutting, the
LED of PAUSE/MENU is
blinking and the cutting
speed became slow.
When the temperature of motor
becomes high, the cutting speed
becomes slow, this is protecting the
motor.
This is correct behavior for cooling
the temperature of motor.
Wait until the temperature of motor cool
down.
The blinking LED of PAUSE/MENU will
be turned off when the temperature of
motor becomes low.
When turn on the power
to the plotter, the LED of
PAUSE/MENU is blinking
even if the temperature
of motor is not high.
Are the temperature sensor boards
connecting to the main board via the
temperature sensor cable?
Connect the temperature sensor boards
to the main board securely.
Is the temperature sensor cable not
cutting off?
Replace the temperature sensor cable if
it is broken.
Replace the temperature sensor board
if the temperature sensor cable is not
broken.
Replace the main board when problem
remained even if the temperature sensor
board was replaced.
