6 System settings and service software
Before a CargoPower drive system can be used in driving operation for the first time, it must
be fundamentally parameterised and set. This is done with the help of the HEINZMANN
service software.
6.1 Configuration Suite
The HEINZMANN E-Bike Service Software is called Configuration Suite and can be
downloaded from the following link:

6.1.1 Installation of the Configuration Suite
• Install Configuration Suite on the computer by executing the "setup.exe". Follow the
instructions of the installation programme.
6.1.2 Driver installation
Danger of damage due to potential differences!
The electrical connection of the control unit to the computer can
cause damage to both if potential differences exist.
Always connect computer and control unit galvanically separated,
e.g. with a USB or CAN isolator.
• It may be necessary to install the drivers of the isolator used during initial
commissioning.
