Before using the product, these instructions must be read completely!
Keep the instructions in a safe place! If the product is passed on to a third party, the instructions
must also be handed over.
Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product. The
manufacturer accepts no liability for damage resulting from non-compliance with these
instructions.
2.1 Intended use
The CargoPower drive system is used as a wheel hub drive for equipping electro motor-
assisted wheels in accordance with DIN EN 15194:2018-11 and DIN EN 79010:2020 such
as EPAC ("electrically power assisted cycle").
Permissible ambient temperature: -15 ... +40 °C
The following in particular do not count as intended use:
• Combination with components not approved by HEINZMANN
• Improper modifications or modifications not approved by HEINZMANN to the
components of the drive system.
• Overstressing the motor due to vehicle racing or forcibly blocking the rotating motor,
e.g. when driving against obstacles.

2.2 Driving licence, registration, insurance
For the use and operation of electrically assisted vehicles, any legal regulations applicable
at the place of use must be observed.
These can be, for example:
• Traffic regulations
• Registration regulations for vehicles
• Insurance obligations
• Compulsory helmet
It is the responsibility of the operator or user of the vehicle to inform himself about
the applicable legal regulations, to apply them and to c
omply with them.
HEINZMANN declines any responsibility in this regard.
