2. Check Enable Fire and Smoke
Detecon.
3. Refer to Detecon Mode and Applicaon Scene for seng the smoke detecon mode.
4. Check Display Smoke Info on Stream to display the smoke
informaon on stream.
5. Set the Sensivity during Patrol and Vericaon Sensivity of smoke detecon. The higher the
value is, the more easily the smoke can be detected, and the false alarm rate is higher.

Oponal: you can shield certain areas from being detected in smoke detecon.
1) Go to Conguraon → Event → Smart Event → Smoke Detecon Shield .
2) Check Enable Smoke Detecon Shield .
3) Click Draw Area and drag the mouse in the live view to draw the area. Release the mouse to
nish drawing.
4) You can drag the corners of the red rectangle area to change its shape and size. Or drag the
rectangle to the
posion on your demand.
5) Click Stop Drawing.
6) Click Clear All to clear all of the seng areas.
7) Set the value of
Acve Zoom Rao on your demand, and then the shield will only appear
when the zoom rao is greater than the predened value
8) Click Add to save the smoke
detecon shield, and it will be listed in the Smoke Detecon
Shield List area. You can select a region and click Delete to delete it from the list. You can
also dene the color of the regions.
9) Check Display Shield Region to show the shielded area in live view.

seng linkage method.
8. Click Save.
