(3)Fix cable fastening with tie-wrap on the right figure to
prevent from breaking cable caused from vibration.
(4)Connect extension cable with cable of GPS receiver or
DGPS receiver. Wind joint with self-melt tape to prevent
from coming water in.

Method of mounting on mast
Position where GPS antenna is mounted
GPS antenna should be mounted at the highest position on the boat to maximum satellite
reception. Obstacle near the antenna will shield it from satellite signal. Then the time of
satellite reception will decrease or positioning accuracy will become worse.
Condition of position to be installed
1.Choose a position away from all metal accessories.
2.Mount at least 4 meters away from medium/short wave high-voltage transmitting
antenna.
3.Mount outside of radar’s cone. Vertical beam width: 30°〜 40°
4.Mount at least 5 meters away from INMARSAT antenna.
5.Mount at least 3 meters away from loop antenna.
In case of the antenna can not be mounted away from as abovementioned 15, make
sure not to put the obstacles of over 10 cm width within 3 meters of GPS antenna.

1.Loose screw of cable

and remove clamp.
2.Wind cable band around
mast on the below figure.
3.Fasten screw of clamp
with driver.
