CNI2 INDEX BASE
When the UMB index mount option is included with the instrument, a rot
ating
magnet and
several
magnetic
sensor switches will be present inside the enclosure as seen below.
For
convenience, wires from t
he senso
r switches are pre
-
wired from the factory to the pulse
counting input terminal block TB4. In the unlikely event that one of the two reed switches should
fail, the redundant input channel will continue to register accurate counts.
