1 Before you go inside the
controller:
1.
Shut down the operating
system.
2. Turn OFF the controller.
3. Remove all cables
and cords
attached to the controller
and attached expander( s)
2 Use a #1 Phillips®
screwdriver and remove the:
• Controller's top cover screw
if it does not have an
expander .
• Existing expander's top cover
screw if attached to your
controller.
and slide the cover backwards
and off the controller/expander.
