options:
Set Defaults—reestablishes the factory default settings.
Resource Priorities—changes the priority of a resource type
(IRQ, DMA, I/O address, and memory address).
Resolve Conflicts—attempts to resolve configuration

Computer Checkup (TEST)
Computer Checkup (TEST) determines whether the various
computer components and devices are recognized by the system
and functioning properly. You can display, print, and save the
information generated by Computer Checkup.
If you have a problem you cannot solve, run Computer Checkup
before calling technical support. Save the device list to a file and
print or save the log of errors. Also run the View System
Information (INSPECT) utility and print or save that information.
Have the files or the printed information available when you call
technical support.
To run Computer Checkup, follow these steps:
1. Connect AC power. (A low-battery condition could initiate
Hibernation and interrupt the program.)
2. Turn on the external devices that you want to test. Connect the
printer if you want to print the error messages log.
3. Turn on or restart the computer and press
F10
as soon as the
cursor appears near the upper-right corner of the screen
.
4. Select Computer Checkup (TEST) from the Compaq Utilities
menu.
5. Select the View Device List option. A list of the installed
Compaq devices is displayed.
