This chapter describes the internal and external audio features of
the computer. These features allow you to take advantage of the
newest multimedia programs for business, presentations,
education, and entertainment.
The computer has an industry-standard 16-bit stereo sound
system. You can record, edit, and play voice, music, and other
sounds in digital audio files.
Windows includes CD Player, Sound Recorder, and Media Player.
CD Player plays audio CDs. Sound Recorder records, plays, and
edits sound files. Media Player plays audio, video, and animation
files and controls the settings for multimedia equipment. Refer to
the online Help for more information.
