Replacing a Discharged Battery Pack
Removing a Battery Pack
To remove a discharged battery pack from the battery bay:
1. If the computer is on, save open files and initiate Suspend. The
power/suspend light begins blinking.
CAUTION:
To prevent loss of unsaved information when the
computer is on, save open files, initiate Suspend, then
immediately replace the discharged battery pack.
2. Tilt the computer up

to locate the battery release latch.
3. Slide the battery release latch toward the back of the
computer

4. Place your hand under the battery pack and pull the battery
pack out of the battery bay
