• EFFECT: The specified STNCNFG file was used for audit initialization.

• CAUSE: The STN license has expired. This is checked at STN process startup time and every morning at 9:00
AM LCT.
• EFFECT: The STN process will continue to run, but, if stopped, it will restart only in limited mode.

• CAUSE: The license file was accepted at STN process startup time. The expiration date is indicated.

• CAUSE: STN was run with the LICENSE^CHECK option and is terminating after checking the license.
Another message will indicate the result of the check.
• EFFECT: None; informational only.
• ACTION: Restart STN without LICENSE^CHECK for normal operation.

• CAUSE: A new STN license was accepted, and the new expiration date is indicated. This occurs when with the
STNCOM command LICENSE_REFRESH is used and at 9:00 AM.
• EFFECT: The expiration date is extended.
• ACTION: None; informational only.
zstn-evt-unlicensed-proto value is 1017
"<STN process name> STN Attempt to use unlicensed PROTOCOL: <2> denied"
• CAUSE: ADD LISTENER was attempted when Protocol TELSERV was unlicensed, or ADD WINDOW,
TYPE PTY (usually only done by SecurSH) was attempted when protocol PTY was unlicensed.
• EFFECT: The ADD command is rejected.
