This command can be performed when STN is running and takes effect immediately.
zstn-evt-checkalloc value is 10
"<STN process name> Checkallocatesegment err <2>"
• CAUSE: STN could not allocate its internal buffer pool in the backup process due to error <2>.
• EFFECT: STN runs without a backup. STN will automatically restart the backup process.
• ACTION: If backup operation is required, use the STNCOM command BACKUPCPU to select another backup
CPU.
zstn-evt-backup-loop value is 11
"<STN process name> Backup creation loop - BACKUPCPU NONE assumed"
• CAUSE: The backup process repeatedly failed. Other EMS events will give additional information.
• EFFECT: STN runs without a backup until a STNCOM command BACKUPCPU is entered.
• ACTION: Correct the problem causing the backup failures, then use the STNCOM BACKUPCPU command.
zstn-evt-ckpt-fe value is 12
"<STN process name> Backup checkpoint16file err <2>"
• CAUSE: Unable to communicate with backup process due to error <2>.
• EFFECT: The backup is stopped. STN will automatically restart the backup process.
• ACTION: None; informational only.
zstn-evt-ckopen-err value is 13

• CAUSE: Error <2> during backup checkopen of file <3>.
• EFFECT: The backup is stopped. STN will automatically restart the backup process.
• ACTION: None; informational only.

• CAUSE: An STN trace was started to file <2> of size <3>.
