dual-controller, dual-domain, optimal cabling” (page 60) and shows connection paths from a
dual-controller P2000 G3 SAS MSA Array controller enclosure to cascaded, dual I/O module
P2000 drive enclosures.

Notes
• This illustration demonstrates connecting the
Large Form Factor P2000 drive enclosures.
Up to seven P2000 drive enclosures can
cascade behind a P2000 G3 SAS MSA
controller enclosure, as long as the total
number of drives in the array system does
not exceed 96.
• When connecting the Small Form Factor
D2700 disk enclosure, up to five D2700
drive enclosures can cascade behind a
P2000 G3 SAS MSA controller enclosure,
as long as the total number of drives in the
array system does not exceed 149.
