PCI Slot Release Lever (Slots 2 and 3)
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server ("Powering Down the Server" on page 20).
2. Extend or remove the server from the rack ("Extending the Server from the
Rack" on page 18, "Removing the Server from the Rack" on page 21).
3. Remove the access panel ("Removing the Access Panel" on page 21).
4. Remove the expansion board from the slot, if installed ("Expansion Board
(Slots 2 and 3)" on page 34).
5. Remove the expansion slot cover from the slot, if installed ("Expansion Slot
Cover (Slots 2 and 3)" on page 36).
6. Remove the PCI riser cage ("PCI Riser Cage" on page 47).
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the server or expansion
boards, power down the server and remove all AC power cords before
removing or installing the PCI riser cage.
7. Open the PCI slot release lever.
