NOTE: When removing the system board, you may leave the DIMMs,
the processors, the PPMs, the Smart Array 5i memory module, and the
system battery on the system board, unless you are replacing them as
failed items.
8. Remove the rear fan bracket.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Short SCSI Cables
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server ("Powering Down the Server" on page 20).
2. Extend or remove the server from the rack ("Extending the Server from the
Rack" on page 18, "Removing the Server from the Rack" on page 21).
3. Remove the access panel ("Removing the Access Panel" on page 21).
4. Remove the front fan bracket ("Front Fan Bracket" on page 43).
