Removing and replacing a drive blank
Removing and replacing a drive blank from the front drive cage
CAUTION: Do not operate the system with any of the front or rear drive cage bays empty. To maintain proper airflow
and suicient cooling, all drive bays in the front and rear cage must have a drive or a drive blank.
Procedure
1.
Remove the drive blank:
• LFF drive blank
To replace the LFF drive blank, slide the component into the bay until it clicks.
• SFF drive blank
