Prerequisites
A T-15 Torx screwdriver might be required to unlock the access panel.
Procedure
1. Power down the server.
2. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b.
Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Do one of the following:
• Extend the server from the rack (

• Remove the server from the rack (Removing the server from the rack).
4. If the locking latch is locked, use a T-15 Torx screwdriver to unlock the latch.
5. Open the locking latch.
The access panel slides back, releasing it from the chassis.
6.
Lift and remove the access panel.
Turn the access panel over to locate the server label. This label provides convenient access to component identification and
LED status indicators.
