6.3. DB – PV MODULES DATABASE MANAGEMENT
The instrument allows defining and saving up to approx. 63.000 modules. The
parameters related to 1 module and the @STC conditions that can be set are shown in
Table 1 below:
Maximum nominal power of module
Voltage on point of maximum power
Current on point of maximum power
Negative tolerance for Pmax
Positive tolerance for Pmax
Isc temperature coefficient
Voc temperature coefficient
Module performance in Year 1
Module performance in Year 2
Module type: STD (Monofacial)
BIFAC. (Bifacial)
Isc/Pmax bifaciality factor
Isc/Pmax bifaciality factor tol.
Table 1: Typical parameters of PV modules
• The parameters "Perf.@Yr1" and "Perf.@Yr2" represent the module
performance percentages declared in the manufacturer's data sheet
• The "Years@Perf.1" and "Years@Perf.2" parameters represent the years
of operation of the module to which the manufacturer has assigned the
performance associated with the "Perf.@Yr1" and "Perf.@Yr2” parameters
• On the basis of these values, the instrument automatically calculates the
Years/Performance curve (see Fig. 23) from which to derive the
performance loss control value % used to calculate the I-V curve (see §
6.4.4)
