6.5.3.1. Meaning of measurement results
In general, the result of a test on a Voc and Isc measurement is determined by the
following relationships. Please note the following parameters:
= open circuit voltage rating @STC
= short-circuit current rating @STC
= Positive tolerance value on Voc = x
= Negative tolerance value on Voc = x
= Positive tolerance value on Isc = x
= Negative tolerance value on Isc = x
= Maximum instrument error declared on Voc (see §10.1 )
= Maximum instrument error declared on Isc (see § 10.1)
= Error on Voc measurement @ STC
= Error on Isc measurement @ STC
The following conditions on parameters on the measurement result are managed by the
instrument:
Response
Condition
Note
(1)
Relation (1) is not verified but still applies:
(2)
Relations (1) and (2) are not verified, but still apply:
(3)
None of the relations (1), (2) and (3) are verified
(4)
(1) Positive test result also considering instrument error in the measurement
(2) Positive test result, except in case of instrument error in the measurement
(3) Negative test result except in case of instrument error in the measurement
