Applications
The E2XX can be inserted into the front card slot of the S5328C-EI, S5352C-EI, S5328C-EI-24S,
S5328C-SI, S5352C-SI, S5328C-PWR-SI, S5352C-PWR-SI, S5328C-PWR-EI, or S5352C-
PWR-EI.
The cost of a 10GE interface is higher than that of other interfaces, so it is used as an uplink
aggregation interface on high-bandwidth and high-speed Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs)
or backbone networks. When an enterprise user needs the high-quality triple-play service, the
E2XX provides access interfaces for downlink devices or networks. The E2XX uses fibers as
transmission media and supports up to 80 km transmission distance. Different transmission
distances can be supported by changing XFP optical modules.
