(1) DIP switch
Step 2 Set the DIP switch for the carbon monoxide gas sensor.

● Set dierent DIP switch addresses for two carbon monoxide gas sensors that
use RS485 cascading communication in a cabinet. The DIP switch address
ranges from 1 to 15. The DIP switch has four binary toggle switches. Bit 1
indicates ON, and bit 0 indicates OFF.
● The DIP switch address of a carbon monoxide gas sensor in the master cabinet
shall be the same as that in the slave cabinet. The DIP switch address of the
upper carbon monoxide gas sensor shall be set to 1 (set toggle switch 1 to ON
and others to OFF), and that of the lower carbon monoxide gas sensor shall be
set to 2 (set toggle switch 2 to ON and others to OFF). The DIP switch setting
shown in the gure is for reference only. The actual setting may vary.
