4. In a parallel SmartLi system, the interval for switching on the circuit breaker
of each cabinet should be more than 10 seconds. If the green indicator blinks
at super short intervals and the red indicator is steady on, the circuit breaker
can be switched on.
8.5 How Do I Quickly Restore Power Backup If a
Battery Module Is Faulty?
If a battery module is faulty, you can change the battery module wiring mode to
8+7 or 7+6 to continue power backup.
8.6 Is Neutral Wire Connection Required?
Yes for certain models. Whether to connect the neutral wire depends on the model
that is connected to the UPS. A neutral wire copper bar is reserved in the lithium
battery cabinet. The neutral wire needs to be connected for the UPS5000-E, but
not for the UPS5000-S or UPS5000-H.
8.7 How Do I Conduct Shallow Discharge and Capacity
Tests?
You can trigger shallow discharge and capacity tests on the UPS monitoring
screen. For details, see 7.2 Battery Test.
During the capacity test, the discharge current of the battery string must be
greater than 20 A. Otherwise, the SOH calculation precision may be aected.
8.8 Why Does the SmartLi Generate a Module Alarm
"Version Incompatible" After Being Powered On
Onsite?
The version of the battery module is inconsistent with that of the rack software
package. You must activate the battery module after power-on.
8.9 How Do I Connect a Communications Cable
Between the SmartLi and the UPS?
● If communication is not required, no communications cable needs to be
connected.
● If communication is required, connect a communications cable only between
the master SmartLi cabinet (with an LCD) and the UPS.
