5.6.4.2 Not Communicating with the UPS
Procedure
Step 1 Connect communication cables and bind the cables to the nearest positions in the
cabinet.
● If you need to log in to the WebUI of the SmartLi, connect the network port
on a PC to the FE port on the monitoring interface unit of the SmartLi.
● If the SmartLi needs to connect to the NetEco, connect the NetEco to the FE
port on the monitoring interface unit of the SmartLi over a LAN switch.
● If the SmartLi needs to connect to the ECC800-Pro, connect the ECC800-Pro to
the FE port on the monitoring interface unit of the SmartLi through the PoE
port of a smart ETH gateway.
● If the SmartLi needs to connect to a third-party network management device:
– If the communications protocol is Modbus-RTU, connect the third-party
network management device to the RS485 port on the monitoring
interface unit of the SmartLi.
– If the communications protocol is Modbus-TCP, connect the third-party
network management device to the FE port on the monitoring interface
unit of the SmartLi.
● When reinstalling the communications cable box, prevent the cable box from pressing
the cables.
● RS485 cables and FE cables must be shielded cables.
● Do not bind communications cables and power cables together.
