5.6.4.2 Not Communicating with the UPS
Procedure
Step 1 Connect communication cables and bind the cables to the nearest positions in the
cabinet.
If you need to log in to the WebUI of the SmartLi, connect the network port
on a PC to the FE port on the monitoring interface unit of the SmartLi.
If the SmartLi needs to connect to the NetEco, connect the NetEco to the FE
port on the monitoring interface unit of the SmartLi over a LAN switch.
If the SmartLi needs to connect to the ECC800-Pro, connect the ECC800-Pro to
the FE port on the monitoring interface unit of the SmartLi through the PoE
port of a smart ETH gateway.
If the SmartLi needs to connect to a third-party network management device:
If the communications protocol is Modbus-RTU, connect the third-party
network management device to the RS485 port on the monitoring
interface unit of the SmartLi.
If the communications protocol is Modbus-TCP, connect the third-party
network management device to the FE port on the monitoring interface
unit of the SmartLi.
NO TE
When reinstalling the communications cable box, prevent the cable box from pressing
the cables.
RS485 cables and FE cables must be shielded cables.
Do not bind communications cables and power cables together.
