6.4 Disconnecting the Battery Supply
If the battery system will not be used right now, perform the following steps to
disconnect the battery supply to avoid battery overdischarge.
Step 1 Query and record the SOC values of all battery cabinets on the SmartLi LCD. Path:
Runn Info > Battery Cabinet x > SOC
● Record the battery SOC to determine the battery charging interval during storage.
● Here, x indicates a serial number, for example, battery cabinet 1, 2, or 3.
Step 2 Switch o the SmartLi battery circuit breaker. If multiple SmartLi cabinets are
connected in parallel, switch o the SmartLi battery circuit breakers one by one.
Step 3 Press and hold the POWER ON/OFF button on the BCU for more than 5s. If three
indicators blink at the same time, release the button to power o the battery
cabinet. If multiple SmartLi cabinets are connected in parallel, shut down the BCUs
of the SmartLi cabinets one by one.
When you hold the button to power o a cabinet, only the indicators on the cabinet where
the software version is later than V500R022C00SPC100 will blink.
If batteries will be stored for a long time after power-o:
1. Pull out the BCU for 10 cm to reduce battery discharge, preventing batteries
from being overdischarged due to storage at low SOC.
2. Disconnect the copper bars between the battery strings, preventing safety risks
due to high battery string voltage.

6.5 Recharge Requirements for Batteries with Low SOC
After batteries are powered o subsequent to installation and commissioning or
batteries have discharged, recharge the batteries in time. Otherwise, batteries may
be damaged due to overdischarge.
