Leakage Handling
Electrolyte overow may damage the equipment. It will corrode metal parts and
boards, and ultimately damage the boards.
Electrolyte is corrosive and can cause irritation and chemical burns. If you come
into direct contact with the battery electrolyte, do as follows:
● Inhalation: Evacuate from contaminated areas, get fresh air immediately, and
seek immediate medical attention.
● Eye contact: Immediately wash your eyes with water for at least 15 minutes,
do not rub your eyes, and seek immediate medical attention.
● Skin contact: Wash the aected areas immediately with soap and water and
seek immediate medical attention.
● Intake: Seek immediate medical attention.
Battery Room Requirements
● Deploy an independent battery room with 2-hour re resistance rating.
● It is recommended that the capacity in a single battery room be less than 900
kWh.
● The battery room must not be located in environments where explosive gases
may exist or be released.
● The battery room must not be located near or below areas with water
leakage risks, such as water reservoirs, water landscapes, and water towers.
● The layout inside the battery room shall comply with local re protection laws
and regulations, considering various aspects such as production scenarios,
room structure, and the safety distance and layout of materials inside the
battery room.
● Do not store combustible materials in the battery room. Keep such materials
at least 3 m away from the battery room.
● A battery room deployed outdoors shall be at least 3 m away from the
following places: lot lines, combustible material warehouses, dangerous
goods, high-stacking warehouses, power infrastructure, public roads, and
buildings.
● The battery room must be isolated from the adjacent area by re
compartmentation. Holes shall be sealed by restop materials. The re
resistance and thermal insulation capabilities shall be the same as that of the
battery room.
Battery Room Fire Safety
The battery room must comply with local laws, regulations, and standards on re
safety, and be equipped with necessary re ghting facilities to eectively
extinguish re and prevent reignition.
● The battery room shall be equipped with re extinguishers lled with halon,
heptauoropropane, peruorohexanone, carbon dioxide, or dry powder. Each
