● If you use a single ladder to climb up to a platform, ensure that the ladder is

at least 1 m higher than the platform.

Hoisting

● Only trained and qualied personnel are allowed to perform hoisting

operations.

● Install temporary warning signs or fences to isolate the hoisting area.

● Ensure that the foundation where hoisting is performed meets the load-

bearing requirements.

● Before hoisting objects, ensure that hoisting tools are rmly secured onto a

xed object or wall that meets the load-bearing requirements.

● During hoisting, do not stand or walk under the crane or the hoisted objects.

● Do not drag steel ropes and hoisting tools or bump hoisted objects against

hard objects during hoisting.

● Ensure that the angle between two hoisting ropes is no more than 90

degrees, as shown in the following gure.
