5.6.2 Component locations
Pressure to the hydraulic system is provided by the
drive system's pump. A pressure limiting valve limits
the maximum system pressure to about
30 bar/435.114 PSI.
There is a lter in the hydraulic tank for the pump's
suction pipe.
A hydraulic oil lter of the spin-on type is used to
lter impurities.
The control valve is a slide valve. The lever is found
in the lever housing to the rear and is connected to
the slider. Pressure supply and exhaust takes place
via the valve block. Hydraulic oil for the lift cylinder is
provided via two hoses.

The hose’s nipple for the cylinder’s piston side is
equipped with a throttle. Between the slider and the
throttle, there is a mechanically controlled return
valve. The purpose of the rear valve is to contain the
oil so that the cutting deck does not lower when the
lever is not activated.
The lift cylinder is a double-action hydraulic cylinder,
and is connected to the lever housing’s shaft.
The power steering is described in “4.3 Steering” on
page 13.
