14.4 Reset the Device
Before resetting the device, back up the data in advance to avoid data loss.
When the device runs slowly or the apps quit unexpectedly, you can reset the network, apps, or system to fix the
problem.
1. Tap .
2. Go to
System > Reset options
.
3. Do any of the following:
 To reset all network settings, tap Reset WLAN, mobile & BT > RESET SETTINGS, and then tap RESET
SETTINGS.
 To reset all app data, tap Reset app preferences, and then tap RESET APPS.
 To clear the downloaded SIM cards, tap Erase downloaded SIMs, and then tap ERASE.
 To free up space on the device, tap Erase all data (factory reset) > Erase all data.
14.5 Upgrade the System

Use the official software only to upgrade the system, to prevent equipment failure, data loss, or damage to
the system security.

Back up your data before upgrade.

Ensure that the battery power is more than 30% before upgrading.
