The Status LEDs (2 and 3 in Figure 1) provide information about the state of the drive. The Ready status LED is green and the
Fault status LED is amber, and (when lit) solid or flashing.

Off Off Off Off The 7226 drive feature drive has no power or is
powered off. The eServer drive will be in this state
when powered up and ready with no tape loaded.

powered on and in an idle state. The 7226 drive
feature drive will be in this state when powered on
even if no tape is loaded. For the eServer drive, this
state also means a tape is loaded
