■ Troubleshooting
L “AM” indicates the PDF type Advanced Manual.
A Program Scan does not start.
z The VFO mode is not selected.
→ Push [VFO/MHz] to select the VFO
mode. (p. 14)
z The same frequencies are entered into
the scan edges.
→ Enter dierent frequencies into the
scan edges. (AM)
A Memory Scan does not start.
z The Memory mode is not selected.
→ Push [MR] to select the Memory mode.

z Only one or no memory channel is
entered.
→ Enter two or more memory channels.
(p. 23)
A distorted noise is heard when the
earphone is used.
z The earphone mode is OFF.
→ Turn ON the earphone mode on the
MENU screen. (p. 74)
Charging is impossible at power ON.
z “Charging (Power ON)” is set to “OFF.”
→ Set “Charging (Power ON)” to “ON”
(default) on the MENU screen.*

* This operation may generate certain
spurious signals, the S-meter
appears, or noise may be heard.
Failed to Bluetooth pairing.
z The Bluetooth device is not in the
Pairing mode.
→ Conrm the Bluetooth device is in the
Pairing mode, and then try again.

z There are other active Bluetooth
devices nearby.
→ Stop using other Bluetooth devices.

Use the transceiver away from other
Bluetooth devices.
z There are other devices that are
operating in the 2.4 GHz band.
→ Use the transceiver away from the
other devices, or stop using those
devices.
“No SD Card is found.” is displayed.
z A microSD card is not recognized.
→ Conrm that a microSD card is
inserted.
→ Reinsert a microSD card. (p. 7)
→ Exchange with a new microSD card.
