Before installing and removing the unit:
Make sure that no pressure is applied to the system and that there is no
medium in the tank that could leak�
Also always take into account the potential dangers related to extreme
machine and medium temperatures�
► Remove the probe from the unit�
► Remove O-ring from the sensor�
► Remove O-ring from the groove and clean it�
► Before reassembly check O-ring and groove�
14.2 Change of medium, change of units
When the medium is changed, it may also be necessary to adapt the unit
settings (→ 11.6.2 Setting to another medium)�
Only if data storage is required in an IO-Link application:
The tank adjustment is not saved via IO-Link� After a replacement it must
be carried out again� (→ 11.2.2)�

► It is not possible to repair the unit�
► After use dispose of the device in an environmentally friendly way in
accordance with the applicable national regulations�
► In case of returns ensure that the unit is free from dangerous and toxic
substances�
14.3 Transport
► For transport only use appropriate packaging to avoid damage of the unit�
When the unit is installed in a machine and transported with the machine:
► Protect the machine and the unit against shock and vibration� Protect the probe
against deflections and vibrations� If necessary, fix at several points to prevent
movement of unstable areas�
