Configuration
Both the Samba and the DLNA server are enabled by default. The only thing that you need to do is to plug
your memory stick or external hard disk in (one of) the USB port(s) of your TG-1 Gateway.
Customizing the settings
To change the default settings, proceed as follows:
1 Browse to the TG-1 Gateway GUI.
For more information, see “4.1 Access from your local network” on page 29.
2 Click Content Sharing. The Content Sharing page appears. Under General status, you can change
the following settings:
Samba enabled:
Allows you to enable or disable the Samba file sharing server.
Samba description:
Add a short description for the TG-1 Gateway shared content.
DLNA enabled:
Select this option to enable the network file server.
3 If you click show advanced the following settings will also become available for configuration:
Samba workgroup:
Enter the same workgroup as used by your computer(s).
Samba name:
Enter the name that you want to use for the TG-1 Gateway shared content.
DLNA name:
Allows you to enable or disable the Samba server.
4 Click Apply.
5 All users connected to the TG-1 Gateway can now access the data stored on the storage device(s) that
are connected to the TG-1 Gateway.
