7.2.2 Mounting
> Install “new” crucible, die and possibly “new” insulations but don’t
fix them.
> Apply a thick layer of Hydrokollag in the crucible bottom cone.
> Put the die in the cone and push it with together with physical
strength.
> Insert combination of crucible and die from above in the inductor.
The hole for the thermocouple must be on the right side (with only
wall measurement).
> Put in stainless-steel press plate and fix it loosely with sealing.
> Put in starter bar in Die for about 10 cm and press it with switch
“Draw roll”.
> Tighten with light hand force die cooler at Allen key screw left
side.
> Tighten stainless-steel press plate with sealing.
> Put in sealing rod and close it with button “sealing rod” at front
panel.
> Put in thermocouples.
> Twist sealing rod a few times to left and right (rub surfaces), so
that the crucible is reliably closed.
> Close bell-lid.
> Take out starter bar and coat graphite in the upper 3 cm (graphite
spray or liquid graphite). Put in starter bar again.
