Chapter 8—Rewinder Module
8.1 Rewinder Module
Description
The rewinder module is an optional device for EasyCoder PD4 printer
models with display. These printers are prepared with belt, pulley, and gear
train for driving the rewinder using the same stepper motor that also drives
the platen roller and transfer ribbon rewinder. They are also prepared with
wiring and a connector for the rewinder module’s takeup full sensor. A
removable plate covers the hole in the center section for the rewinder.
The rewinder module consists of the following parts. Only the liner reten-
tion clip and the liner takeup full sensor are available as spare parts. The
cable from the takeup full sensor is not shown in this drawing.
