First, ensure that the door closes properly and is correctly aligned. Next, use the key to verify that the bolts smoothly enter the strike holes with adequate space. When the door is open, confirm that the lock functions correctly with the mechanical key and electronically via the door sensor contact. Also, check the connecting rods to ensure they are not blocked and have at least 1 mm of play. You can also test the lock with the rods disconnected to further diagnose the issue.

  If your Iseo x1R internal motor sounds like it's freely rotating, and the latch and bolts are not moving, it means the motor cannot engage the internal lock mechanism. Check that the cylinder cam is in the correct (zero) position. Try opening the lock using the internal handle (if it's a Single Action lock) or the mechanical key to unlock the motor. Also, verify that the cylinder is the correct model and that the lock is installed correctly, referring to the Warnings section of the installation guide.   If your Iseo x1R lock, with the door closed, periodically emits two acoustic signals along with two slow red light signals, it means the latch is not fully inside its seat, usually due to excessive friction or a misaligned door.   If the latch of your Iseo lock keeps retracting into the lock, it could be due to several reasons: Passage Mode being enabled, the remote opening button being continuously pressed, or the latch being mechanically stuck. To solve this, disable the Passage Mode or Scheduled Passage Mode. Ensure the remote opening button is not stuck or disconnected. Also, try to manually unlock the latch.

  If the external control module of your Iseo x1R Smart lock isn't reacting or responding to any RFID or PIN credential and isn't giving any light or sound signals, it could be due to a disconnected or damaged wiring, or a faulty external control module. Check the wiring of the external control module to ensure it's not damaged and the connector is securely attached to the x1R Smart. Try switching the x1R Smart off and on; upon reboot, the lock will attempt to communicate with and update the external control module if necessary. You can also try using another external control module to see if the problem is resolved.
