What to do if Iseo x1R lock doesn't close or open?
    • J
      Jason PayneAug 16, 2025
If your Iseo x1R lock doesn't close or open and the motor sounds strained, accompanied by an error signal after three attempts, it's likely that the bolts or latch are unable to move freely. First, ensure that the door closes properly and is correctly aligned. Next, use the key to verify that the bolts smoothly enter the strike holes with adequate space. When the door is open, confirm that the lock functions correctly with the mechanical key and electronically via the door sensor contact. Also, check the connecting rods to ensure they are not blocked and have at least 1 mm of play. You can also test the lock with the rods disconnected to further diagnose the issue.

Why my Iseo x1R lock doesn't respond to any command?
    • T
      Thomas SinghSep 12, 2025
If your Iseo x1R lock isn't responding to commands, the latch and bolts aren't moving, and the command modules are off with no sound, it indicates the lock isn't powered. Check the batteries' status and the main power supply if one is present. Inspect the power supply cable for proper connection and any damage, and ensure the connector isn't broken or has loose contacts. If the problem persists, contact IseoZero1 Technical Support.

How to fix Iseo x1R lock when the motor sounds like free rotating?
    • S
      Stephanie GoodAug 22, 2025
If your Iseo x1R internal motor sounds like it's freely rotating, and the latch and bolts are not moving, it means the motor cannot engage the internal lock mechanism. Check that the cylinder cam is in the correct (zero) position. Try opening the lock using the internal handle (if it's a Single Action lock) or the mechanical key to unlock the motor. Also, verify that the cylinder is the correct model and that the lock is installed correctly, referring to the Warnings section of the installation guide. If the issue persists, contact IseoZero1 Technical Support.

Why does my Iseo x1R lock emit 2 acoustic signals?
    • J
      jcabreraAug 26, 2025
If your Iseo x1R lock, with the door closed, periodically emits two acoustic signals along with two slow red light signals, it means the latch is not fully inside its seat, usually due to excessive friction or a misaligned door. Check that the latch seat is properly sized and aligned with the latch when the door is closed. Also, check the distance between the door and the frame, and see if the issue is caused by pressure from the door sealing.

What to do if Iseo x1R doesn't engage bolts when door is closed?
    • T
      Timothy GriffinAug 28, 2025
If your Iseo x1R, with the door closed, doesn’t engage the bolts but shows correct light and sound behavior, it's likely that the Passage Mode or Scheduled Passage Mode is enabled. To resolve this, disable these modes. Also, check if the door sensor contact has been installed with the correct polarity and is making proper contact. If not, adjust the position of the contacts or replace the door sensor contact.

Why does the latch keep inside the Iseo lock?
    • H
      harrisrebekahAug 31, 2025
If the latch of your Iseo lock keeps retracting into the lock, it could be due to several reasons: Passage Mode being enabled, the remote opening button being continuously pressed, or the latch being mechanically stuck. To solve this, disable the Passage Mode or Scheduled Passage Mode. Ensure the remote opening button is not stuck or disconnected. Also, try to manually unlock the latch.

Why doesn't the external control module react to RFID or PIN on my Iseo lock?
    • M
      melanie00Sep 3, 2025
If the external control module of your Iseo x1R Smart lock isn't reacting or responding to any RFID or PIN credential and isn't giving any light or sound signals, it could be due to a disconnected or damaged wiring, or a faulty external control module. Check the wiring of the external control module to ensure it's not damaged and the connector is securely attached to the x1R Smart. Try switching the x1R Smart off and on; upon reboot, the lock will attempt to communicate with and update the external control module if necessary. You can also try using another external control module to see if the problem is resolved.

What to do if Iseo x1R lock doesn't respond to any command and emits 7 acoustic signals?
    • D
      david59Sep 6, 2025
If your Iseo x1R lock doesn't respond to any command, the latch and bolts don’t move, the control modules emit seven acoustic signals along with seven fast red blinks, and opening via smartphone is denied, it indicates an internal logical error compromising the software functionality, possibly due to a broken or uncalibrated internal sensor. Check if the x1R Smart version in the Advanced menu corresponds to the lock code on the lock case label. Contact IseoZero1 Technical Support for the automatic sensor calibration procedure.

Why is Iseo x1R not visible on Argo app?
    • B
      bwrightSep 9, 2025
If your Iseo x1R is not visible on the Argo app, and the external and internal modules are flashing red at regular intervals without any sound, it indicates that the Bluetooth module is either not connected or not working. Check the Bluetooth module cable to ensure it is intact and well-connected on both ends. If the issue persists, replace the Bluetooth module.

Why does my Iseo lock switch off when I open the door?
    • S
      Stephanie Owens DDSSep 12, 2025
If your Iseo lock switches off (control modules LED off) as soon as you open the door, it's likely powered by door sensor contacts and the battery is low. Replace the batteries to solve this issue.
