3.3 Applying Waveform Output
IT-M7700 can be used as a waveform generator. In the following process, IT-
M7700 is configured as a waveform generator and outputs 10V/50Hz Sine
wave.
1. Press the [AC] key to set the instrument to AC output mode.

2. Set the AC Voltage.
a. Press [V-set] key to position the cursor to the voltage setting value.

b. Rotate the knob clockwise to increase the voltage setting value and anti-
clockwise to decrease the value. Set the required value.
The knob can be used together with the left/right navigation keys. Press
the left/right navigation keys to move the cursor to a digit. Rotate the
knob to change the digit value.
c. Press [Enter] key to confirm the voltage setting value.
Press [Esc] key to exit the input mode.
3. Set the AC Frequency.
a. Press [F-set] key to position the cursor to the frequency setting value.

b. Rotate the knob clockwise to increase the frequency setting value and
anticlockwise to decrease the value. Set the required value.
The knob can be used together with the left/right navigation keys. Press
the left/right navigation keys to move the cursor to a digit. Rotate the
knob to change the digit value.
c. Press [Enter] key to confirm the frequency setting value.
Press [Esc] key to exit the input mode.
4. Set the AC Phase Angle.
a. Press the composite keys [Shift]+[V-set](Config) to enter into the config-
uration menu interface.

2:AC + DC = Off
b. Rotate the knob to select On Phase and press [Enter] key to confirm.
3:On Phase = 0.0°
4:Off Phase = 0.0°
