Capacity Control - Capacity Modes
ACCESSING:
DESCRIPTION: Use this screen to set the Capacity Control
Modes.
CAPACITY CONTROL MODES
[Status] - A pull down menu is provided to se-
lect from the following:
• Disabled
• Enabled
[Control Point] - A pull down menu is provided
to select from the following:
• Suction Pressure
• Discharge Pressure
• Economizer Pressure
• System Discharge Pressure
• Suction Temperature
• Discharge Temperature
• Process/Brine Temperature Leaving
• Process/Brine Temperature Entering
• Auxiliary 1 thru 10
[Action]
• Forward – As the Capacity Control
value drops below the capacity control
setpoint, these setpoints will protect
the compressor by decreasing the ca-
pacity, or if necessary shutting down
the compressor.
• Reverse - As the Capacity Control value
rises above the capacity control set-
point, these setpoints will protect the
compressor by decreasing the capac-
ity, or if necessary shutting down the
compressor.
INPUT MODULE CAPACITY MODE SELECTION
This provides for selecting the Capacity Control
via the two input modules rather than the key-
pad or communications port. The mode that will
be selected can be derived from the following
matrix:
