[III] Copy Information (Copy)
Procedures 1 Press the [2] key while the File Manager menu is open.
Selected items for Device1 will be displayed.
2 Press numeric keys corresponding to the device from which data is
to be copied.
The list of files saved in the selected device will be displayed.
3 Press the [3] key.
Selected items for Device2 will be displayed.
4 Press numeric keys corresponding to the device to which data is to
be copied.
The list of files saved in the selected device will be displayed.
5 Put the cursor on the data to be copied, and press the [ENT] key.
Pressing the [ENT] key will select the data. Pressing the [ENT] key one more time
will cancel the selection.
6 Put the cursor on Copy , and press the [ENT] key.
The character input screen for the Input File Name menu will appear.
If there is a file having the same name, the file selection window will appear.
When deleting saved data and copying new data, press the [1] key to select Overwrite.
When adding data to a Waypoint file, press the [2] key to select Add. Even in the
Add mode, WPT data and Route data are overwritten. When selection has been
made, Confirmation Window will appear.
7 Enter the file name to be saved.
Up to 10 characters can be entered.
For the input method on the character input screen, see Section 3.3.4.
After the data has been entered, Confirmation Window will appear.
8 Press the [1] key.
The entered name is written into the selected device as a file name.
