Earthing measures
y The devices are to be fastened to a conductive, earthed backing plate. Earthing
measures to EN61800-5-1 are described in Chapter 4.4.
External components
y Place larger loads near the power feed.
y Contactors, relays, solenoid valves (switched inductances) must be wired with
suppressors. The wiring must be directly connected to the respective coil.
y Any switched inductance should be at least 0.2m away from the process-
controlled assemblies.
