5.3 – PREFERENCES
The K-Mix Editor’s Preferences window contains lesser used options pertaining to the behavior of K-Mix’s
audio, the K-Mix hardware, and the K-Mix Editor.
The Preferences window can be accessed by clicking on “K-Mix Editor” in the menu bar and selecting
“Preferences”, or via the [⌘,] keyboard shortcut.
5.3.1 – K-MIX SETTINGS
The K-Mix section of the Preferences window contains options related the K-Mix device. Modications to
these are all saved on the K-Mix for use whether
connected to the Editor or not.
5.3.1.1 – CH #1 & 2 PHANTOM
Enables or disables phantom power for channel
1 or 2’s microphone input. There are two
available options for each channel:
• OFF = Phantom power is off
• ON = Phantom power is on
5.3.1.2 – PHANTOM VOLTAGE
Sets whether the phantom power provided on channels 1 and 2 is operating at +12V or +48V.
• +12V = Phantom power is providing +12V when enabled
• +48V = Phantom power is providing +48V when enabled
