5.4 – MENU BAR OPTIONS
These are options/actions available via the menu bar at the top of the screen.
5.4.1 – K-MIX EDITOR
The K-Mix Editor menu has the following options:
5.4.1.1 – ABOUT K-MIX EDITOR
Displays an About screen for the K-Mix and K-Mix Editor.
EXPECTED FW
Displays the rmware version that is included in the editor.
If the rmware on a connected K-Mix does not match the
Expected FW version, the editor will prompt you to update the
rmware on your K-Mix.
FOUND FW
Displays the rmware version that is currently on the connected K-Mix.
EDITOR VERSION
Displays the current version number of the K-Mix Editor.
5.4.1.2 – PREFERENCES
Selecting the Preferences option opens the Preferences window.

K-Mix Editor
While it may be possible to use a K-Mix loaded with a different rmware version than
is expected by the editor, it is not recommended. While we make the best effort to
preserve backwards-compatibility, some updates may potentially break backwards-
compatibility with older rmware versions, leading to odd behavior.
