CONFigure:TEMPerature:<probe_type> [{<type> | DEF}, [{<resolution>|MIN|MAX|DEF},]] (@ch_list)
Only supported on DAQM900A, DAQM901A, DAQM902A, and DAQM908A multiplexer modules.
Configures the channels for temperature measurements, but they do not initiate the scan. This command redefines
the scan list.
The CONFigure command does not place the instrument in the "wait-for-trigger" state. Use the INITiate or READ?
command in conjunction with CONFigure to place the instrument in the "wait-for-trigger" state.
Table below shows transducer types that are supported on each multiplexer module.

<probe_type>: {FRTD | RTD | FTHermistor | THERmistor | TCouple | DEF}
Default:TCouple
<type>:
For FRTD and RTD: 85
For FTHermistor and THERmistor: {2252 | 5000 | 10000} Default: 5000
For TCouple: {B | E | J | K | N | R | S | T} Default: J
<resolution>
Default: 1 PLC (0.000003 x Range)
(none)
Configure a 4-wire RTD measurement. Then make a measurement using an external trigger with positive slope (rising edge) and
read the measurement:
CONF:TEMP FRTD,85
TRIG:SOUR EXT;SLOP POS
READ?
– For temperature measurements, the instrument internally selects the range; you cannot select which range is
used.
–
For RTD and FRTD measurements, use "85" to specify α = 0.00385.
– When you specify a range of channels with this command, any channels that are invalid will be ignored (no error
will be generated) but the selected function must be valid for at least one channel in the range, or an error will be
generated.
