[SENSe:]{FREQuency|PERiod}:APERture? [{(@<ch_list>) | MIN | MAX | DEF}]
Sets the aperture time (gate time) for frequency and period measurements.
Parameter is shared between frequency and period measurements. Setting or querying the parameter with
the FREQuency version of this command is identical to setting or querying it with the PERiod version.
Parameter Typical return
{1 ms|10 ms|100 ms|1 s}. Default: 100 ms +1.00000000E-01
Configure frequency measurements using a 1 s aperture, make a measurement:

You can specify MIN (smallest value accepted) or MAX (largest value accepted) instead of <seconds>.
Resolution Aperture
100 ppm × <range> (MAXimum) 1 ms
10 ppm × <range> 10 ms
1 ppm × <range> (DEFault) 100 ms
0.1 ppm × <range> (MINimum) 1 s
– Aperture for frequency and period measurements does not autorange.
– This parameter is set to its default value after a Factory Reset (*RST command).
