Keysight PXIe Chassis Family User Guide 101
Using KtMTrig Trigger Manager IVI Driver Configuring the PXI Trigger Bus
Using KtMTrig Trigger Manager IVI Driver
Trigger management provides a systematic way for multiple applications to
share the eight PXIe backplane trigger lines without interfering with each other.
A generic trigger utility, KtMtrig, is installed as part of the PXI Chassis Family
Driver for programmatic control of trigger management. It is a “wrapper” around
the PXI-9 Trigger Manager DLL, which is defined by the PXI-9 Trigger
Management Specification managed by the PXI Systems Alliance.
When you install the PXI Chassis Family Driver, it installs two additional KtMTrig
drivers: IVI-C KtMTrig and IVI.NET KtMTrig. These drivers are installed in the
following locations:
C:/Program File > IVI Foundation > IVI > Drivers > KtMTrig (for IVI-C Driver)
C:/Program File > IVI Foundation > IVI > Microsoft.NET > Framework32 > v4.0.30319 >
Keysight.KtMTrig x.x.x (for IVI.NET Driver)
C:/Program File(x86) > IVI Foundation > IVI > Drivers > KtMTrig (for IVI-C Driver)
C:/Program File(x86) > IVI Foundation > IVI > Microsoft.NET > Framework32 >
v4.0.30319 > Keysight.KtMTrig x.x.x (for IVI.NET Driver)
