BIOS Settings Verification
Whenever either the A4 CPU assembly or the A4BT1 CPU Battery is changed
there are certain BIOS settings that need to be verified. If these are not set
correctly the instrument may not boot up or operate correctly.
Default BIOS Settings
1. Connect an external USB keyboard to one of the front panel USB ports.
2. Turn on instrument power.
3. Confirm Keysight Technologies splash screen comes up within a few
seconds.
4. Press the key on the keyboard specified on the initial boot screen to enter
the setup utility.
5. Navigate to the Exit screen and select “Restore Defaults” or “Load Setup
Defaults”, whichever is present.
6. Once the defaults have been loaded select “Save Changes” and “Exit”.
