Safety system' warning message will
appear on the cluster, and Rear Cross-
Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist will
turn off automatically or it will be limited.
In this case, have your vehicle inspected
by an authorized Kia dealer.
When the side view mirror warning light
is not working properly, the 'Check side
view mirror warning light' warning mes

sage will appear on the cluster. In this
case, have your vehicle inspected by an
authorized Kia dealer.
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-
Avoidance Assist disabled
When the rear bumper around the rear-
side radar or sensor is covered with for

eign material, such as snow or rain, or
towing a trailer or carrier, it can reduce
the detecting performance and tempo

rarily limit or disable Rear Cross-Traffic
Collision-Avoidance Assist.
If this occurs, the 'Rear Cross-Traffic
Safety system disabled. Radar blocked'
warning message will appear on the
cluster.
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance
Assist will operate normally once foreign
material, trailer, etc. is removed. Always
keep the radar clean.
If Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoid

ance Assist does not operate normally
after it is removed, have the function be
inspected by an authorized Kia dealer.
